About me
Hello. My name is Sophie and I’m a musician based in London, UK. I am available for work on guitar, bass, drums, violin, vocals and keys, as well as songwriting, co-writes, toplining and arranging.

I am an experienced recording and touring musician. From me you can expect hard work, professionalism, fun, kindness, honesty & integrity and most importantly, no bullshit.

These days, 'session musician' can be a bit of a dirty word. Just because I play music for my job, doesn't mean I have to be cold, hard and detached. I work on projects that I enjoy, with people that inspire me. I love music. I am loyal and organised. I like to muck in, go the extra mile, have fun and create meaningful, authentic relationships with the people I work with - that's how I like to be in all areas of my life.
For me, it's not just about getting the job done and then clocking off - it's important for me to be delivering work of the highest standard and for everyone I'm working with to be enjoying themselves along the way.

Below you can find some examples of my previous work. For any enquiries, or just to say hello, please do drop me a line at sophiegalpin@gmail.com.
